Ravi Basrur is an Indian music composer, lyricist, sound designer, and film director who has made a significant mark in the South Indian film industry, particularly in Kannada cinema. He is widely recognized for his high-octane and powerful background scores and soundtracks, especially for the K.G.F. film franchise.
Film Career:
His career skyrocketed with his collaboration with Prashanth Neel on the K.G.F. series. The background score and songs for K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018) and K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022) became immensely popular across India, cementing his reputation as a top-tier music director. His music for the films, characterized by a raw and powerful sound, was praised for perfectly capturing the mood and scale of the on-screen action.
